GlassProtect Jeweller

GlassProtect Jeweller is a wireless indoor glass break detector designed to identify intrusion attempts by analysing the acoustic signature of breaking glass. Using a sensitive electret microphone and the DualTone verification algorithm, it distinguishes real breakage events from everyday noises such as barking dogs, passing trucks, or clattering objects. With long-range Jeweller communication, an NC input for third-party detectors, and up to seven years of battery life, it provides reliable perimeter protection for residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

How It Works

GlassProtect Jeweller uses an electret microphone to capture acoustic patterns associated with glass breaking. The DualTone algorithm verifies both the low-frequency impact sound and the high-frequency shattering sound within 1.5 seconds, significantly reducing false alarms. Sensitivity levels can be adjusted to suit different room sizes and acoustic environments.

The detector communicates with the hub using encrypted Jeweller radio technology, ensuring fast alarm delivery, regular polling, and protection against spoofing. The NC input allows integration of additional wired detectors, expanding the protection zone.
